INTRODUCTION
 Kent’s masterpiece work “Repertory of the Homoeopathic materia medica” which was published in 1897 , this work my be considered as desirable extension and complemented Boenninghausen`s work
 Kent made the fullest use of Boenninghausen`s sensation and general modalities by incorporating them in generalities
 Generalities chapter is last chapter . It is large and elaborate and it contain many rubrics on general modalities and some rubric on clinical , pathological , poison etc. are appeared. Many rubrics which appear as particular under proper anatomical section or main heading may also appear in this section . If you refer to the general condition e.g. modalities related to perspiration ,menses , food etc.
