Gossypium is a powerful emmenagogue. It has a wide reputation as an abortifacient. It produces firm, regular and strong uterine contractions, resembling Cimicifuga in its action (C.). Nausea on awaking (Alum., Asar., Bor.,Con.,Lac-Ac., Petr) (B.). Vomits on motion or rising up (Bry., cocc., Sulph.) HYPEREMESIS GRAVIDARUM (Ars., Asar., Colch., Cup-Ars., Kreos., Lac-Ac., Nux-v., Petr., Phos., Puls., Sep.,sil., Symphori., Tab., Verat.) (B.).
